A Massachusetts Air National Guard member charged with leaking highly classified military documents will remain behind bars while he awaits trial, a federal magistrate judge ruled Friday. The ruling comes after prosecutors revealed that 21-year-old Jack Teixeira had a history of violent rhetoric, and was caught by superiors months before his arrest taking notes on classified information or viewing intelligence not related to his job.In ordering Teixeira to remain locked up, U.S. Magistrate David Hennessy noted that Teixeira was twice confronted by his superiors about his handling of confidential information before his arrest. He said the criminal case represented “a profound breach of the defendant’s word that he would protect information related to the security of the United States.”“Who did he put at risk? I mean, you could make a list as long as a phone book,” Hennessy said, including military personnel, medical workers overseas and Ukrainian citizens.Teixeira has been behin...

ROME (AP) — Juventus is in more legal trouble after the Italian soccer federation on Friday charged the club and seven former team directors with alleged fraud for the way they handled player salary cuts during the coronavirus pandemic. At the start of the pandemic, Juventus said 23 players agreed to reduce their salary for four months to help the club through the crisis. DENVER (KDVR) -- It's not quite as tight as New York or California cities, but $1,500 doesn't get you much living space in Denver. Using Yardi Matrix data, RentCafe analyzed square footage rental costs in the 100 largest cities in the U.S. to see how much $1,500 will rent. Nationally, $1,500 a month will rent about 782 square feet of living space. Over half (56%) of the 200 largest cities offer more than the national average of square footage, but Denver isn't one of them. Denver ranks top 5 for worst air quality in the world In Denver, a $1,500 rent budget can afford about 646 square feet. This is the 75th smallest rental size for the price in the U.S. among 100 cities, about equal to Austin or Philadelphia. At opposite ends of the spectrum are New York City, where $1,500 will get 243 square feet of living space, and Wichita, Kansas, in which the same budget gets 1,463 square feet.
