BEIRUT (AP) — The Kurdish-led authorities in northeastern Syria on Friday called on the U.S.-led coalition to make clear where it stands regarding Turkish drone strikes that have killed and wounded dozens of Syrian Kurdish fighters over the past months. Ankara has declared the PKK a terrorist group.Syrian Kurdish forces were a major U.S. ally in the war against the militant Islamic State group, which was defeated in Syria in March 2019.Thursday’s drone attack was the latest in a monthslong escalation between Turkey and Kurdish fighters in Syri...

Austin Pets Alive! seeking fosters amid Central Texas heat wave APA! said each of the puppies is fighting to live and will require bottle-feeding around the clock every two hours. Fringe review: ‘101 Goofin’ Things’ lives up to its name with fun

Published Tue, 04 Mar 2025 11:08:32 GMT

Must seeThe Goof Goof crew lives up to their name in “101 Goofin’ Things”, which had adults and children laughing and participating alongside them. Liv Augusta Amrami and Phillip Schramm “perform 101 goofin’ tasks, randomized for your pleasure,” according to the apt description in the online program. For kids (and adults) accustomed to sitting quietly at the theater, being encouraged to take part (think Bingo, bowling with eggs for two audience volunteers) and interact with the actors was exhilirating. One child, age 10, begged to see the show again; not out of the question because each will be different. Come prepared for a chaotic, wild ride that can be loud at times, but in all the best ways.Presented by Goof Goof at Theatre in the Round; 7 p.m. Aug. 5, 7 p.m. Aug. 9, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 11, 10 p.m. Aug. 12.Still unsure what to see?
